You find an open city square that seems like it may have been a marketplace at one point. It is now plastered in gore and decay, but there are still several objects and structures that can be searched or destroyed. (ref)
the pit
You follow a glowing orange path to an underground passage that is boiling with moving lava. It bubbles and hisses in different places as it swirls around a central platform where a glowing orb is floating midair. (ref)
the tower
You find a narrow and winding path towards an unseen platform at the top. Ahead of you is a demon that starts sprinting towards the top the moment it notices you. (ref)
the forest
You wander into a forested area and find writing on a stone structure in a center clearing. The only legible words on the structure read “They who seek an exit must look towards the light when all else is dark.” Leaving through one of the available paths seems to send you back to the beginning in an endless loop. (ref)
the rock wall
You come to a path choked with roots and rocks with no signs of any other living thing. This might have once been a grand building but now was reduced to rubble, roots cracking through the stone and wrapping around it until there is no sign of there being anything else. The roots here are dark gray edging to black without the typical scent of blood, and the stone is old brick. Here and there in the clumps of roots are small black stalks tipped with glowing purple flames, while the ground feels strangely slick in places around the first slab of rock. Poking at the ground here reveals a pool of a thick black goo that reacts explosively when touched by flames. (ref)
