may bulletin Oh hai, Asgard, thank you for bearing with us through another shakeup! New mods Fahrbot and Crim are working hard, but there's bound to be some growing pains as we settle in, and we thank you for your patience. If anyone has any specific issues they don't want to bring up in #mod-questions, feel free to dm the mod account or contact us on the mod contact page! Please note that there will be more developments from the blighted cave plot, but our first plot as mods will be unrelated as we're still acclimating to the overall game lore. CHANGES & GENERAL REMINDER. CHANGES → Going forward, there will be less specific information on what each god in the Pantheon is up to. This is to give the new mods a bit of a brain break, and might change as we get used to doing All the Things! The gods will still be present in game, and active as requested, so hopefully it won't be too disruptive a change for players. Due to the timing of this month's events, the latent curses will also occur later in the month than usual, falling on the 25th. Also, Pink and Jack will be stepping down from their roles as helper mods, and we are incredibly grateful for all that they've done and passed on to us! We can handle the work for now, but we are interested in recruiting another tech mod to help with page maintenance and updates, please pm the mod account if you are interested! REMINDER → Activity check has been processed and there is currently a list of names here that details those who haven't responded. You've got 72 hours to reply or take a strike, otherwise be swept from the game. MAY IN ASGARD. OVERVIEW. May in Asgard dawns pleasant and sunny, surely a welcome respite from the chaos the vines and plantlife wreaked in April, though you might not view the new burst of spring flowers as warmly as you might have the same time last month. The weather for the first week will be pleasant, perhaps inspiring you to celebrate the heart of spring in some way. Fortunately for you, the locals have some ideas! THE PANTHEON. What are the gods up to in May? They continue to be grateful for the Wanderers contributions to their realm, particularly all those who aided the locals and each other during the Asgardian Jungle. They're a bit frustrated that disasters are occuring so frequently, and eager for the Wanderers to have some respite. Skadi in particular is hoping to allow the Wanderers to have a moment of relaxation soon, and finds herself throwing herself wholesale into aiding and improving the festival that's soon to occur. THIS MONTH'S EVENTS. may 4th-6th ↴ KITE FESTIVAL. Eager to celebrate spring sunshine without any murderous or mind-altering plantlife in the way, the locals are pleased to invite all Wanderers to attend a Kite Festival! Taking place in the fields surrounding the city, Wanderers will be able to take part in kite making and flying, competitive kite battles, dancing, and of course a feast. KITE-MAKING → Local children are happy to take you by the hand to make your very own kite to fly. You're welcome to decorate yours with whatever you wish, but the children also have runes you might like to paint on yours for luck, and you might find yourself mysteriously drawn to the idea. If you ask how they came across such an interesting alphabet, they'll simply giggle, saying the runes told them their names when they found them. rendu sil fyeer KITE-BATTLING → Maybe you're not one who's content with watching a kite soar across the clear blue sky, but that's alright, for there's also competitive kite-battling to enjoy! You might try to win a battle by cutting each other's kite strings with aggressive flying, or maybe you're content just to bash the other kite out of the air with your own, the locals won't judge. Winners will be treated to an enchanted wreath of flowers that fills you with a sense of happiness and contentment for the remainder of the festival. DANCING AND FEASTING→ No festival would be complete with an evening of food, drink, and dancing, and the locals and interested Wanderers alike come together to produce a gorgeous outdoor feast on the last day of the festival. Cultivators and Artists will be encouraged to lend a hand to decorations, ensuring that everyone enjoys a beautiful spring night with friends and allies. Food will be readily available throughout the day, culminating in a large banquet enjoyed beneath the stars. Beer and vodka based drinks will be available for the older crowd, as well as any libations Wanderers would like to bring for themselves and others to enjoy. The dancing that begins after dinner carries long into the night, sending most who attend home pleasantly exhausted. may 11th-15th ↴ STORM'S COMIN' Those who flew runed kites wake up on the 15th feeling...a little different. Just as they felt something new inside themselves when the gods first granted them power, they feel another new itch beneath their skin. It seems that whatever runed kite they flew has imbued them with a new power, one that will last the duration of the second event, and one that they feel themselves compelled to use more and more. Soon each runed Wanderer finds themselves unable to stop indulging in their new power, which might not be a bad thing, because they'll certainly come in useful when a strange storm descends on Asgard. More details will be posted about this second event on May 8th! The second event post will go live on May 11th. That's it for now, folks! Can the travelers get a bit of a bead on what the three runes 'mean?' Or some of the story behind them?

The children who offer them as designs will be playfully coy about what they are and where they found such mysterious symbols, but they won't give anything up! Doesn't seem shady at all, does it?
